This Labor Day weekend marks the second, and hopefully last, running of the Baltimore Grand Prix around the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
Is it just me, or does every other city interested in hosting an Indy car race have an actual race track?
Not Baltimore. Some genius thought it would make more sense to turn major roads in downtown Baltimore into a race track and disrupt traffic for an entire week. Which is what happened last year.
If an idea is stupid enough, the politicians in this city are guaranteed to throw money at it.
